2011 Signs Part six
United States Post Office sign in Grand Teton National Park
I just liked this Post Office sign we saw in Grand Teton National Park. It is located across from the new magnificent Grand Teton National Park Visitor Center located in Moose, Wyoming.
Is your WIFE on board? Sign leaving RV-Park in Cheyenne, Wyoming
This sign is funny if you are an RV'er. You see, RV'ers have a checklist of things to remember when they are preparing to pack up and leave an area. One of them should be to put your TV antenna down ---- if you don't that expensive piece of equipment will be ripped off by the first tree limb. Making sure you wife is on board is also another things we should make sure of. VBG
Sunset Pier with an actual Key West Sunset below the sign
I am going to give Joyce credit for taking this picture but I just may have taken it. Of course Joyce would disagree. VBG This Sunset Pier sign is located on the back of the stage where Robert and Fritz are performing their medily of 50's and 60's songs for those gathered on Sunset Pier to experience the famous Key West Sunset. Below the sign is an actual Key West Sunset complete with sailboats and a really colorful sunset. Sunset Pier is our favorite spot to watch the sunset when we are in Key West. We have a table to sit at and the sounds of Robert and Fritz plus a small dance floor. It would be hard to get any better.
Little Bear Saloon, in Evergreen, Colorado, Dress Code
I loved this Dress Code sign we saw in the Little Bear Saloon in Evergreen, Colorado. Of course it is a spoof since that is what about 90% of the customers are wearing. The Little Bear Saloon, is actually a pretty cool place. You should stop and look around when you are visiting in that area. Make sure that you go upstairs and walk around. Sunday afternoons are a good time to visit Little Bear Saloon since they generally have a live band.
Firehole Falls.... now how is that for a name
Firehole Falls is located in Yellowstone National Park and is on the Firehole River. I just like the name. Actually, when you are visiting Yellowstone National Park Firehole Falls is one of the things you should look for. It is located near Madison Junction. If you turn south from Madison Junction toward Old Faithful you will see a paved road going to the west (right) less than a mile from Madison Junction. That road leads to Firehole Falls then returns to the road leading to Old Faithful.
The Outlaw Saloon in Cheyenne, Wyoming
We love the Outlaw Saloon in Cheyenne, Wyoming. There is nothing like it anywhere.
