Gulf World Panama City Beach & St Andrews State Park Campground
October, 17th thru early November
This travellog covers the third part of our two week stay on Panama City Beach camping at St. Andrews State Park $26.16 for water & 30-amps with a central dump station. The sites feature paved interior roads with sand campsites. St. Andrews State Park Campground has LOCATION and "price". The campground at St. Andrews State Park is situated on Grand Lagoon with many sites on the water and all others with a view of the water. In my opinion it doesn't matter if you have one of the sites on the water or not you are so close to the water that it doesn't matter.
Bennett at beach near the campground at St Andrews State Park
This is Bennett, our 3-year old grandson, on the beach at St Andrews State Park, playing in the *snow* not really it is just beach sand even though it looks like snow. Having this so close to the campground at St Andrews State Park is so wonderful.
Gulf World on Panama City Beach
Stephen our 6-year old grandson couldn't resist playing like a sea turtle at Gulf World.
Bearded Lizard at Gulf Worls on Panama City Beach
The boys weren't too sure about this bearded lizard at Gulf World on Panama City Beach. My son might not have been sure about it either from the look on his face. Daniel the "reptile man" assured us this was a very tame lizard. Both of the boys ended up touching and petting this docile creature.
Bennett with python at Gulf World on Panama City Beach
Daniel, the "reptile man" at Gulf World on Panama City Beach wrapped this python over Bennett's shoulder's. We later determined that the snake weighed as much as he did. Bennett was a good sport and smiled big for his picture.
Reptile Man at Gulf World with large python skin
Daniel, the reptile man at Gulf World is showing us the skin of a 14' python that had just shed this skin. Stephen was so interested in that skin that Daniel gave the skin to him. Stephen has a museum in his house where he showcases things. This large snake skin will be conversation piece for years to come.
Stephen and king snake at Gulf World on Panama City Beach
Daniel is showing Stephen the markings on the back of this king snake's head. When you see the markings it looks like a smiley face. As you can see Stephen liked it.
Stephen & Parrot Show at Gulf World on Panama City Beach
During the parrot show at Gulf World on Panama City Beach Stephen went up on stage to play a game with this parrot.
Dolphin performing at Gulf World on Panama City Beach
We had already had so much fun in the reptile show, the parrot show, the sea lion show and finally the dolphin performance. Gulf World was a big hit with our grandsons.
Jr. Museum in Panama City
One afternoon we drove in to Panama City and visited their Jr. Museum. Here the boys are "fishing" from a boat in the museum building. The "fish" were on the ground and catching them required connecting the magnet on the end of the fishing line with the magnets on each of the fish. Stephen is removing this fish that he has just caught. Bennett is really excited about Stephen's catch.

Deer in the Campground at St Andrews State Park
When we arrived back at the motorhome in St. Andrews State Park this afternoon deer were wandering through the campground. This one was visiting the next site as Jeff was loading his truck for their trip back to Pensacola.
Sadly, all good things must end. A few minutes after this picture was taken Jeff and the boys headed back to Pensacola and all was quiet at the motorhome.
That is all there is.
