Joyce took this picture of the America 2 from our vantage point on the deck of the Party Cat on a sunset cruise out of Key West Bight Marina in February of 2012. The America 2 is sailing past Sunset Pier and Mallory Square in Key West. That is Sunset Key in the background. Yankee Freedom, Fury Sunset Cruise boat and the America 2 with Sunset Key in the background
The Yankee Freedom is the large fast catamaran ferry that operates between Key West and Dry Tortugas National Park some 70-miles west of Key West. The Fury sunset catamaran is the single sail boat with the double horizontal stripes on the sail. America 2 is in the distance with the dark hull.
Sunset Key is the land mass you see behind the Yankee Freedom.

Does it get any better than this? Late February, in Key West, watching a beautiful sunset with the fast, sleek America 2 sailing schooner passing by just as the sun sets. Oh, I forgot..... sharing all this with the love of my life at Sunset Pier with Robert and Fritz performing our favorite tunes.
