Sunset Pier in Key West

The crowd has gathered on Sunset Pier in anticipation of the coming sunset. Until the sun actually sets folks will have to settle for the parade of boats that pass by Sunset Pier.

Joyce and I have a seat close to where Robert and Fritz sing and play their 50's music.

Sunset Pier becomes a hub of activity each evening when everyone arrives to partake in the the obligatory sunset ritual. Sunset Pier is a favorite viewing spot because they have tables and chairs for you to lounge in while watching the show.

That sail you see with FURY written on it is actually on a passing sail boat with a huge load of passengers out for a sunset cruise.

Note that the sunset cruise boat is slowly cruising past Sunset Pier so that all on the dock can see and wish they were on that sunset cruise. Possibly the folks on Sunset Pier will chose to watch the sunset from the sunset cruise boat FURY.

Some folks, like Joyce and I, visit Sunset Pier to listen and dance to Robert Albury and Fritz Sigler as they entertain nightly from 5 to 7PM.
