Tetons from Wind River RangeGrand Tetons from high in the Absaroka Mountains on US-26
When traveling from Dubois to Moran Junction on US-26 one of the first things you do after passing over the continental divide at Togwottee Pass in the Absaroka Mountains is to start looking for your first view of the Teton Mountain Range. Here it is, a view of the Teton Mountain Range from high in the Absaroka Mountains east of Moran Junction. The Grand Tetons as viewed from high in the Absaroka Mountain Range east of Moran Junction

Teton Mountain Range as viewed from east of Moran Junction near the Buffalo Fork of the Snake River
The valley east of Moran Junction that follows the Buffalo Fork of the Snake River is one of the most beautiful valleys anywhere. A view similar to this one is common when in the Buffalo Fork River Valley. If you are visiting Grand Teton National Park get a map and find the Buffalo Fork River (Buffalo Fork of the Snake River) and follow the road up the valley from US-26. When you get to Turpin Meadows it is time to turn around and return. The views as you return are simply awesome. When you get to Turpin Meadows Ranch stop at the bridge and take pictures. You will understand what I mean when you get there. Mt. Moran and the Teton Range from US-26 high in the Absaroka Mountain Range
This is the view from US-26 just before you arrive in Moran Junction.
