The Victorian style house is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. There are two decks jutting out over the Atlantic Ocean where you can dine, enjoy a drink and see a beautiful Key West sunset. Chef Doug Shook has been preparing each dish to order for over 23 years. The Cuban food is some of the best in Key West. Jerry Andrews took me there a couple of years ago and I wanted to take Joyce so we went in search for it. We even called Jerry to get the address and quite frankly I couldn't remember the name so I was really needing some assistance in finding this restaurant. So I am going to give you the address and telephone number. 900 Catherine Street Key West, Florida, 33040 305 296 4184 The family friendly restaurant serves authentic Cuban cuisine. You want be disappointed. El Siboney is a "local" favorite. Locals, especially those who's ancestry is Cuban comprise a large portion of their clientele. But locals that want good Cuban food head there as well. El Siboney is located in a residential part of Old Town Key West not on one of the main streets frequented by tourist. The only way tourist end up here is because they make it their business to find it. Dante's Restaurant & Raw Bar Dante's is located in Conch Harbor marina on the corner of Grinnell Street and Caroline Street. It is very popular with locals and tourist. The beautiful heated swimming pool is a calling card for most people who just want to relax and enjoy some good food and good times. You can order anything from conch fitters to burgers and I heard someone say the fish tacos are very good. Dante's is casual outdoor dinning at it's best! You can swim in the pool before and after you dine. 955 Caroline Street Key West, Florida, 33040 305 293 5123 EL MESON DE PEPE EL MESON DE PEPE offers Cuban and Island Cuisine. It is located in the heart of Mallory Square so consider dining there after you watch a beautiful Key West sunset. They offer patio and indoor dinning. 410 Wall Street Key West, Florida, 33040 305 285 2620 Hours: 8:00 Am - 10:00 PM TURTLE KRAALS Restaurant Located on Harbor Walk at 231 Margaret Street, Turtle Kraals is a Key West icon. Seafood, Breakfast and even BBQ are on the menu. Hours 7Am - 10:00 PM THE COMMODORE WATERFRONT RESTAURANT A classy upscale restaurant over looking Key West Bight Marina on Harbor Walk. Delicious steaks and seafood. 700 Front Street # 104 Key West, Florida, 33040 305 294 9191 Hours: 5:30 PM -10:30 PM Hogfish Grill & Bar on Stock Island Hogfish Grill & Bar on Stock Island is one of our favorite restaurants. You can order anything from Hogfish to Havana Roast Pork. The menu is extensive and the food is very good. It is alfresco dinning in Stock Island at it's best. 6810 Front Street Stock Island, Florida 33040 ( 5 miles east of Key West) 305 293 4041 Mon-Sat 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM Sun 8:00 Am - 11:00 PM Blue Heaven Restaurant in Key West Great food, laid back atmosphere, and a lot of ambiance. Tourist talk about the breakfast at Blue Heaven Restaurant. We went for a late lunch. Alfresco dinning with Key West chickens roaming around the ground and in the trees. The food was outstanding, but the service left something to be desired. Maybe it was just the time of day we were dinning. If you visit Key West dinning at Blue Heaven is a must. 729 Thomas Street Key West, Florida, 33040 305 296 8666 Alonzo's Oyster Bar in Key West Alonzo's Oyster Bar offers fresh seafood and a warm and friendly atmosphere. Dine inside or outside for a waterfront view.
