Many smaller marinas can be found in Key West Bight Marina. A&B Marina is the largest of these marinas and the one where transient boats stay.

Most of the boats in this picture are in what is typically referred to as A&B Marina which is located in Key West Bight and locally referred to as the Historic Seaport Harbor.

Residents who reside on "liveaboards" use these dinghies as transportation between "home" and town/work just like other people would use an automobile. And like folks that live in a stick & brick place they need a parking place for their transportation.

This is where the dinghies dock "park" when they the folks living on liveaboard boats come to town. They and tie up their dinghies here along Harbor Walk in the Historic Seaport Harbor at Key West Bight.

Many of these dinghies belong to liveaboards moored around Wisteria Island or Christmas Tree Island about one-mile north of Key West.
