America 2 is a super fast sailing schooner that is new to the Key West fleet of schooners. The America 2 is one of the fastest schooners on the east coast if not the fastest. Joyce took this picture of the Yankee Freedom from Sunset Pier in Key West. The Yankee Freedom is a high speed ferry making daily trips from Key West to Dry Tortugas National Park 70-miles west of Key West.
