We saw this sign delineating boys and girls rest rooms at a fish camp on Lake Kissimmee, Florida near Lake Wales about 50-miles south of Disney World.

Just down the road on Lake Kissimmee is Camp Mac a fish camp par-excellance. There seems to be no end to the unique signs on bathroom doors.

Row vs. Wade as the name for a dinghy

Row vs. Wade as the name for a dinghy

This yellow row boat is used to access boats in the anchorage. An anchorage is a place to "dock" when you don't have access to a waterfront space.

I think we saw this dinghy at the public anchorage in Sarasota, Florida.

Boat names are often unique while some some are downright funny. We spotted this one at the big marina in down town Sarasota, Florida.

We saw this sign a few miles northeast of Abbeville, Louisiana. It just struck my fancy. This sign is a real good indication that you are in Cajun Country.

Folks, let me tell you there ain't no place on earth like Cajun Country in Louisiana. Not only do they have the best food they have the friendliest residents that you will ever come across.

Feckle Fanny Farm

The Freckle Fanny Farm was on the gate of a ranch estate east of Bradenton, Florida. You just have to love this name.

We took this pic in an Arizona Rest area along I-10 east of Tucson. I suppose each area of the country has their own unique set of problems. I couldn't help but think that it is OK for travelers to stop and let their pooch take a pottie break ---------- but they want the cows, sheep, goats, pigs and horses to hold it. Sorry, I couldn't help it.

Just close your eyes and imagine why this sign is here.
