Fury Fleet Key WestCatamaran from the Fury fleet passing Sunset Pier
This catamaran from the Fury fleet is sliding past Sunset Pier as it makes it way out for an evening sunset cruise.
Catamaran from the Fury fleet passing the Yankee Freedom Ferry returning from Ft Jefferson in the Dry Tortugas
The large ferry is the Yankee Freedom returning from it's daily run to Ft Jefferson in the Dry Tortugas some 70-miles west of Key West. One of the Fury fleet's catamarans has the sail with the dark stripes. The schooner with the dark hull in the distance, (to the left of the Fury boat) is the America 2. That is Sunset Key in the background.

The Fury catamaran is about to sail into the setting sun while the Jolly II Rover, with the red sails, is slowly headed in that direction. That is a flock of skimmers you see hugging the water.

Joyce captured the Jolly II Rover as it eclipsed the setting sun. That is an awesome picture if I do say so. That is the sailing schooner Appledore on the left, the Jolly II Rover in the middle and one of the Fury fleet's catamarans on the right.

I hope the passengers on these boats are having as much fun as we are sitting at our table on Sunset Pier listening to Robert and Fritz perform 50's and 60's music. How do you ask for a more beautiful Key West Sunset?

The large ferry Yankee Freedom is returning from it's daily run to Ft Jefferson in the Dry Tortugas 70-miles west of Key West. The Fury catamaran and the America 2 are on sunset cruises. All of these boats operate out of Key West Bight Marina.

Joyce captured this Fury catamaran as it made a close pass by our table at Sunset Pier. That is Wisteria Island in the distance.

In addition to this awesome sunset Joyce has captured many of the sunset cruise boats operating out of Key West Bight Marina. The sails with the dark stripes belong to the Fury fleet. The schooner with the red sails is the Jolly II Rover and the single white sail belongs to a Sebago catamaran.
