Turpin Meadow Campground is a forest service campground off US-26 near Moran Junction in the Bridger-Teton National Forest.

 

Turpin Meadow Campground is located off Buffalo Valley Road about 15 miles east of Grand Teton National Park at 7,300 feet elevation and about 100 yards from the Buffalo Fork of the Snake River.

At the edge of the Teton Wilderness, adjacent to Yellowstone National Park, is Turpin Meadow Campground. This Forest Service camping location attracts hikers and horseback riders interested in exploring wilderness via trail heads around the campground.

Turpin Meadow Campground has the advantage of being near a number of guest ranches on Buffalo Valley Road. These ranches offer the public, as well as their guests, a variety of activities such as trail rides, chuck wagon suppers, and even live music.

The nearby Buffalo Fork River also offers an opportunity to catch Golden, Cutthroat and Brook trout.

Turpin Meadow Campground is a Fee Area $10/night and no hookups of course it is 1/2 price for those over 62 years old with a "Senior Pass". Turpin Meadow NFS Campground is first come first serve, reservations are not accepted.

Turpin Meadow Campground has 19-sites set in a thick old growth lodgepole pine forest along the Buffalo Fork River.
