Mormon Row is located in Antelope Flats off Antelope Flats Road in Grand Teton National Park.

Mormon Row is a group of old farm buildings. Mormon Row has withstood the elements for more than a century, since the land here was first homesteaded by predominantly Mormon settlers in the early 1900s.

The Rockefellers bought the majority of the land and later gave it to the National Park Service. Buildings of Mormon Row were allowed to decay until the 1990s. It was then that the buildings cultural value was recognized and steps were taken to preserve them.

Today, six homesteads and a single ruin provide visitors a glimpse into the past of Jackson Hole Valley. I think the six homesteads are now operated as a bed & breakfast.

Mormon Row was a distinct agricultural community within Jackson Hole. Though it only lasted two generations, it is an example of the western settlement experience. Mormon Row can be seen as a small taste of the pioneer way of life that many Americans lived in the West. It was inhabited principally by Mormons, and so the farming and irrigation practices are shaped by the Mormon experience on the western frontier.

Rental cabins on Mormon Row. I think this is a bed & breakfast operation.

Mormon Row is one the most picturesque areas of Grand Teton National Park in my opinion. It comes complete with rustic, wooden buildings and is surrounded by open fields, grass and sage standing out against the stunning backdrop of the Tetons.

One of the most photographed buildings anywhere. This old barn, on Mormon Row, in Grand Teton National Park just begs to be photographed.

Some say this is America's most pictured barn. It anchors the buildings along Mormon Row, an abandoned farming settlement, posed against the perfect backdrop of the Grand Tetons.
