Sailing Schooner America II at the dock in Key West Bight Marina

You can ride on the sailing schooner America II when visiting Key West. The America II is one of the fastest schooners on the east coast if not the fastest.

Tourist really like their cruise on the America II. We would see the America II out virtually every evening on their popular sunset cruise.

We took a lot of pictures of the America II on their sunset cruise while we were in Key West.

Most of the pictures we have of the America II were taken from Sunset Pier.

The Appledore, the Western Union and the America II are all docked along Harbor Walk. These beautiful sailboats are the stars of what I like to refer to as the sunset parade each evening in Key West Harbor. Most tourist enjoy walking along the docks of Key West Bight Marina to observe the beautiful sailboats and yacht and chat with the crews to lean more about the sailing opportunities.

Joyce, took this picture of the sailing schooner America II from Harbor Walk on one of our afternoon strolls around Key West Bight Marina. The America II is amazing to watch as it departs Key West Bight Marina each evening for the sunset cruise and glides through the waters of Key West Harbor.

If you want a good view then join the crowd at Sunset Pier for drinks or dinner and watch the America II, the Appledore, and the Western Union sail.
