Chas Blakemore is performing an acoustic set at Cowboy Bill's in Key West with Dave Alfred on the bass guitar.

Chas grew up in the hills of Eastern Kentucky with backwoods country values. His voice, however, comes from a little deeper within and holds the true spirit of America.

That is Dave Alfred playing with Chas. Dave plays the bass guitar and between the two they produce a good sound.

In his earlier years Chas worked the honky tonks along Broadway Street in Nashville like Tootsies, Legends Corner and The Stage on Broadway.

He has settled into writing songs and performing as a regular at Cowboy Bills in Key West.

Chas has one song that we think could take him into the big time of country music: Nickajack Dam

Chas is performing and obviously consuming some beer on the stage at Cowboy Bills in Key West. Actually, Dave is consuming 1/2 of those beers.

Around 9pm each night they crank up the mechanical bull at Cowboy
