Crazy Woman Canyon part-4

This is a view as we turned off US-16 onto Crazy Woman Road and Crazy Woman Canyon

Joyce took this picture shortly after we turned off US-16 onto Crazy Woman Road on our way into Crazy Woman Canyon located southwest of Buffalo, Wyoming.

Scenic US-16 between Buffalo and Ten Sleep, Wyoming is a note worthy scenic drive. However, we have just turned off US-16 onto Crazy Woman Road that is going to take us through Crazy Woman Canyon. Crazy Woman Road and Crazy Woman Canyon take scenic drives to a whole new level and we are about to do it.

We are about to cross over a one lane bridge then take a sharp left turn and go past that cliff you see ahead. Crazy Woman Road through Crazy Woman Canyon has a change of scenery every time you blink your eye.

Crazy Woman Road gets narrower as we enter Crazy Woman Canyon southwest of Buffalo, Wyoming

Crazy Woman Road has gotten narrow through Crazy Woman Canyon. We are only going around 5 to 10-mph while taking in all the eye candy surrounding us in Crazy Woman Canyon. It is so awesome it makes you want to do it again!

Crazy Woman Road through Crazy Woman Canyon was an awesome scenic drive that everyone should put on their bucket list.

We popped out of Crazy Woman Canyon a few hundred yards down this road and there was nothing but beautiful prairie visible as far to the east as the eye could see.

If you are like me you are wondering why everything is called "Crazy Woman". I did some research and have written about that name in a travel log about Buffalo, Wyoming.
