Gaze your eyes upon that huge tarpon in the center of this picture. He is well over 130-pounds. I suspect the one beside him is around 100-pounds as well. I think that if I were a brown pelican I would find a safer place to feed.

Folks, that is one huge tarpon swimming below the 40 and 50-pounders near the surface. I suspect that large tarpon will weigh a good bit over 100-pounds since he is well over 5' in length. You can view these large tarpon and the brown pelicans every day when you stroll along Harbor Walk around Key West Bight Marina.
