This picture was taken from the Willow Flats Overlook about one miles south of Jackson Lake Lodge in Grand Teton National Park. Willow Flats Overlook is one of the places that we make multiple stops at when visiting Grand Teton National Park. Willow Flats is home to herds of elk, wolf and bear. When stopping at Willow Flats Overlook it is hard to take your eyes off the majestic Teton Range in the distance in order to search for wildlife. Mt Moran is the imposing peak on the right side of this picture while Grand Teton Peak is to the left of center. Jackson Lake is in the distance.

On this afternoon we spotted a herd of elk grazing on Willow Flats. The Teton Range provides an awesome backdrop for Willow Flats. Willow Flats, Jackson Lake and the majestic Teton Range in Grand Teton National Park
The Teton Range presents a grand panorama across Willow Flats. Mt Moran is the imposing mountain in the center of this picture and Jackson Lake is the body of water in the distance. Grand Teton Peak is the tall sharp peak on the left side of this picture.
