CMA Music Festival Parade part 2
May 29 to June 3, 2008. We normally look for 1/2 price PPA Campgrounds COE Campgrounds or National Park Campgrounds. But in Nashville, over the Memorial Day weekend Two Rivers Campground is our choice. June 4, 2008 Wednesday afternoon June 4, was the big "registration" day for CMA Music Fest along with an opening parade which showcased some of the stars that arrived in town early for the party that begins tomorrow.

.............. This is one member of the Michael Martin Murphy band. They are best know for the song Wildfire but they do many other songs you would recognize. I have no clue where the other two members of Michael Martin Murphy are but his fellow was having a good time by himself.

After the parade action started on the Free Chevy Stage and continued until 8pm. Hours and hours of free music was presented on the Chevy Stage every day of the CMA Music Fest. After the parade Keith Anderson, Zac Brown Band, Luke Bryan, James Otto, Joe Nichols, Rissi Palmer, Phil Stacey and Chris Young performed. How is that for a free concert!
One day we went for an afternoon cruise on the General Jackson Showboat that boards jusd down the road from where we are staying at Two Rivers Campground.
