May 29 to June 3, 2008. We normally look for 1/2 price PPA Campgrounds COE Campgrounds or National Park Campgrounds. But in Nashville, over the Memorial Day weekend Two Rivers Campground is our choice.
The Wheel on Broadway a classic Nashville honky tonk
The Wheel is one of the newer and smaller honky tonks on the more boisterous south side of Broadway. The beer is always cold the bartener is always sweet and the music is always good. We stop by the wheel in the afternoons when we are checking out new talent. You can find it located across the street from Jacks Bar-B-Que and The Stage on Broadway.

Pork is a singer songwriter hailing from Pennsylvania. He is country through and through. Pork not only has a unique name he has a unique voice. The songs he writes are pure and honest and some are down right funny.

Pork McElhinny .... the real dealPork has a double CD ---- "Guitar Man" available. It is neat to meet a musician who writes and sings his own songs.
We got one of his CD's The Boy in the Man while we were in Nashville. Long Way to the Top is another one of Pork McElhinny's CD's. Pork also performs in Roberts another honky tonk on Broadway. If you are in Nashville try to catch one of Pork's shows, you will enjoy it and his company.
One day we went for an afternoon cruise on the General Jackson Showboat that boards jusd down the road from where we are staying at Two Rivers Campground.
