Catch the Spanish/Mexican influence in Weston, Colorado. The entire length of the Highway of Legends from Trinidad, through Weston, Stonewall, Cuchara, La Veta and ending in Walsenburg was settled by the Spanish & Mexicans long before United States citizen thought about settling here.

We thought about doing a scenic drive down Wet Canyon Road but decided against it. It may have been a hidden gem, but it will have to wait until another time.
