Places Visited: Saturday, April 23 Rio Bend RV & Golf Resort near El Centro, California--- $27.00. Full hookup paved interior streets gravel sites N32° 45.962' W115° 41.557'. Joyce declared that this was a "down day". We have been going at it hard. It was time to take a day and relax, and that we did. Talk about not doing ANYTHING, absolutely nothing, that was our day. Well we did take a short drive around sunset. This view is from south of El Centro, California looking to the southwest as the sun sets over the mountains in Mexico.

The sky really lit up this evening. What a beautiful sunset from El Centro, California as the sun set over mountains just across the border in Mexico.

This truck/machine has just delivered a load of hay to that big pile of hay bales you see on the left and is heading off into the sunset. We saw a beautiful sunset over the San Diego Mountains plus crew of hay trucks picking up hay bales out of the field and delivering them to a storage area.

These loader trucks are driving through this field at breakneck speeds automatically picking up these bales of hay. I am totally amazed at the speed these hay loaders operate and it is all automatic. The mountains in the background are in Mexico.

The mountain in the background is in Mexico. Remember we are only a very short distance to the Mexican Border southwest of El Centro. Don't you just love that full moon over the mountain? Tomorrow we are headed from El Centro to Borrego Springs, California a transition that will take us through the Imperial Valley. We have always heard about the Imperial Valley now we are going to finally get to see it.
