We were told that the Dog Bar & Grill was "THE" place to dine in Cuchara so that is what we did.

It appears that this restaurant in the historic village of Cuchara was named for a dog.

This beautiful bar top actually made a "T" and took off just like this in the other directions.

I loved this beautiful hand crafted bar top made out of a huge Ponderosa Pine log. Huge, and simply beautiful.

This table and several others were made out of a large, make that very large Ponderosa pine according to the bar tender.
