Although I can not see it I think the rail road runs by this facility and it is the elevator system that loads the rail cars taking coal from this mine.

This is a covered conveyor belt system located across the street from the loading facility and buildings in the other pictures. This conveyor system is carrying coal from the mine to the processing/loading facility across the street that is seen in the other pictures.
