Ryndam departing Key WestCruise ship Ryndam departing Key West as the sunsets
Cruise Ship Ryndam departing Mallory Square just before the daily sunset celebration at Mallory Square. Actually the Ryndam cast off its mooring lines about 20-minutes ago. It takes a while for a ship this size to push away from the dock and turn around.
Key West sunset with the Cruise ship Ryndam departing Key West
This sunset picture has it all. The Ryndam Cruise Ship is departing Key West, the Key West Express (fast ferry to Ft Myers) is also departing Key West for Ft Myers, a beautiful Key West sunset and last but not least the tip of Sunset Key is visible on the right side. That dark vessel behind the Ryndam is an unidentified private yacht that was enjoying the sunset like we were. Cruise Ship Ryndam and private yacht highlighted by a Key West sunset
The cruise ship Ryndam is departing Key West while a private yacht is slowly cruising the ship channel off Key West enjoying the same sunset we are. One of the sunset sail boats operating out of Key West Bight Marina is on the horizon between the Ryndam and that private yacht.

Passengers on the Ryndam were being treated to the same spectacular sunset that we were.
