Brunswick, Georgia & Charleston, South Carolina

South Carolina: Charleston

October 14 through 23, 2007.

We have been back in Pensacola for over a month and it is time for us to do something. Joyce graduated from Glenn Academy high school in Brunswick, Georgia. Glenn Academy won the Georgia state highschool Football championship the year she graduated and the entire class likes to get together for reunions and other events. This year they decided to have a 60th birthday party since the entire class was turning 60 this year. Some people will use anything as an excuse to have a good party! VBG

We left Pensacola in heavy rain headed to Brunswick. When I say heavy rain Pensacola received 30-inches of rain before it stopped raining 2-days later. However, 50-miles east of Pensacola we ran out of the rain and continued our journey to Brunswick in nice weather.

In Brunswick the weather was nice, remember it is mid-October, so we overnighted in a variety of store parking lots. We visited with friends and attended the 60th Birthday party. As is usual with this bunch we all had a good time.

From Brunswick we headed north to Charleston, South Carolina for a visit with Joyce's sister and her family. Jeff and Kathryn and our grandsons were there as well. They had driven over to Charleston from Clemson, South Carolina where they had been to a homecoming football game.

Until next time remember how good life is.

Mike & Joyce Hendrix
