Sombrero Ranches Stables on US-34 (east side of Estes Park)
Sombrero Ranches Stables in Estes Park is THE location for miles of horseback riding on private trails on a 1000-acre cattle ranch as well as into the National Forest. This is a great way to explore this remarkable area. Along the trail you'll enjoy views of the surrounding mountains, some frosted with snow even in July, thickly forested areas, pristine mountain streams and Estes Park's lake below. You may also see wildlife, including coyotes, elk, deer, and longhorn cattle, and possibly "Bob" the bobcat. Sombrero Ranch Stables does a booming business. There were several hundred horses in this corral visible from US-34. Sombrero Ranch Stables on the east side of Estes Park
