Harland County Lake was formed with a flood control dam on the Republican River, in southern Nebraska. The lake has several COE campgrounds scattered along the shoreline. Methodist Cove COE Park & Campground is located near Alma, Nebraska.

Deer and turkey can be seen roaming the campground. This is a view of the FHU campground. There must be 100 or more campsites that do not have any utilities ---- (dry camping sites). We wanted electricity since temperatures were in the mid-90's.
