Royer's restaurant in Round Top, Texas
Royer's is a renouned restaurant in Round Top. The restaurant is owned by a top chef that left the high pressure life of big city restaurants to open his own place here in Round Top and do things his way. Royer's is noted for serving outstanding food. The uppies from Houston drive here on the weekends to eat. These signs are outside his restaurant where everyone gathers waiting their turn to enter. If you can't read the one on the left says "For those in a hurry go to Houston!" That one is particularly funny since most of the customers drive here from Houston.

The sign on the right says "Beer & Wine on the Honor System 'cept Bankers & Attorneys which are Cash Only!" Bud, the pie man!!! Now you just gotta love that one since many of his customers are those bankers and attorneys from Houston.

While we are still a few weeks early some fields of bluebonnets are showing off. It will be spectacular in another two weeks. The best week is the second week in April or so we are told.
